Program Structure

A 4-week agile design sprint.

  • Sr. product and creative staff teach and lead participants through a 4-week agile design sprint.
  • Creators participate in lectures and workshops, while simultaneously working in teams of three on vendor projects.
  • Creators develop portfolios, resumes and expand their networks.
  • Vendors increase revenue, streamline workflows, and enhance their product offerings.

Program Eligibility

This program is designed to empower creators and entrepreneurs from disadvantaged communities. While our priority is to serve these groups, all motivated individuals are encouraged to apply.

Creators

  • Must be 16-30 y.o.
  • Must commit to the full 5-week training
  • Must demonstrate motivation and interest to learn  UX design.
  • Successfully complete interview process.

  • Must be a start-up bakery or small local business in Los Angeles.
  • Must be able to provide 6 months of bank statements.
  • Ability to cover cost of domain and web hosting.
  • Agree to share customer, and operations data.
